Oikos Support
In Young Researchers of Serbia headquarters, a team of coordinators and experts from Oikos Support will provide civil society organizations, representatives, and members with information, mentorship, and support.
Oikos Support’s main activities include:
- Educating civil society about the EU environmental acquis
- Monitoring environmental policies in Serbia
- Promoting environmental protection and consistent application of EU laws in this sphere
- Integrating gender equality in environmental strategies and policies
- Improving civil society organizations’ capacities and visibility within the local communities
- Strengthening cooperation within the CSO sector, as well as the communication between the CSOs and citizens
- Assuming a larger role of the public in the decision-making process related to the environmental protection
Environmental Impact Hub will be supported by Coalition 27 member organizations, whose core activities focus on specific topics within the Chapter 27: horizontal legislation, air quality, waste management, water quality, nature protection, chemicals management, noise, climate change, forestry, and financing.
